ALARMCO® is a privately held company specializing in digital voice technology. For over 30 years, ALARMCO has been at the forefront of digital voice technology.
In 1978, under contract to a security company, we developed the first commercial alarm panel using digitized voice technology. In its infancy, digital voice was very robotic sounding at the time.
In 1986, we launched our own digital voice product line of message repeaters that used human voice.
In 1988, we introduced features so revolutionary they delivered functionality our competitors still have not matched. Alarmco was the first in the industry to offer message repeaters with hundreds of user-recordable messages.
In 2006, we completely re-engineered our products from the ground up, maintaining all the original functionality and introducing even more innovations.
Instaplay is continually being refined. For example, in 2009, we added the ability to access Instaplay over an Ethernet connection.
