GrainMaker mills are made by Bitterroot Tool & Machine, a custom machine shop in Stevensville, Montana. Our team has more than seventy
five years of experience working with metal. We routinely manufacture parts for a custom gun manufacturer, dies used in the aerospace
industry, fine tools used by woodworkers and log home builders and other precision machining.
We built the first grain mill for our own use in February of 1999 when we didn't want to wait months to have one delivered from another
source. (Y2K was in full swing!) Friends and neighbors soon wanted one in their kitchen; the machine was also well received at shows.
After a few modifications, the GrainMaker mill was born. Another local Montana business gives our mill its distinctive red powdercoat
finish.
Owner Randy Jones' passion for solving problems, commitment to precision workmanship and strong faith is evident in everything he does. |

Thoughts on America:
I love America. I am grieved to see where we are today and believe we must come together so our voices can be heard and make a difference. In Numbers 13 in the Old Testament we see that 12 men went to spy on Canaan. They saw a great land filled with many good things - Neverless - there were giants in the land! But in verse 30, Caleb calmed the people and told them they were WELL able to overcome it. The people go on to rebel in chapter 14, but in verse 9 there is instruction that we as concerned Americans, and those of us who are Christians should head and head NOW! |
