Mill Street Puzzle is located on Historic Hill in Newport, Rhode Island, was founded January 2009 by Tom Weismann. Tom saw an area of the puzzle market that was under serviced; American made jigsaw puzzles that celebrate American heritage. Each puzzle is set during the turn of the 20th century, a critical inflection point in our country's rise to greatness. Each puzzle celebrates the values and hard, honest work that made America great, from the pioneers on the frontier, to the family farmer, to the grand lighthouses that guided grand tall ships into American harbors.
All of our high-quality puzzle are manufactured in the USA using original, commissioned paintings by various American artists in various painting styles. Our products are available at many retail stores and through this website.

Thoughts on America:
America is a great nation with a great problem; American consumers don't have access to the American-made products they demand. As big-box stores take over retail shopping, so do the cheap imports that line their shelves. Companies like Walmart literally force their suppliers to move operations overseas to save pennies per item (which go in Walmart coffers, not consumers'). As a country of consumers, we need to be conscious that every item we buy is a vote we cast; we tell the market: "This is what I demand and I want more of it". Vote for American made goods to keep America strong. |
