Maybe it was the inspiration of the majestic Teton Mountains or the brisk morning air in Jackson Hole. Maybe it was a couple of inquisitive and motivated locals that were determined to share their knowledge of plant medicines and alternative healing methods. Or maybe it was hundreds of years of tradition calling our to do be rediscovered. For whatever reason Clarissa Smith and Jean Jorgensen started Wyoming Wildcrafters in Jackson, Wyoming in 1985. They developed an extensive line of handcrafted herbal products, many made from the plants growing wild in the surrounding mountains. The products quickly developed a loyal core of customers. Today Wind River Herbs products are used by massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, naturopathic physicians and many individuals across the country that attest to their quality and effectiveness.
In 1996 the name was changed to Wind River Herbs and in 2000 property was purchased in Star Valley to establish a farm for the growing of herbs.
The number and quantity of herbs that are grown and harvested for use in their herbal products continues to grow. This “Little Switzerland of America” is the perfect location to grow powerful herbs.
Over the years Wind River Herbs has grown to be recognized as a supplier of the highest quality herbs and herbal products. Through our commitment to the land and soil we hope to continue to serve our customers for years to come. |

Thoughts on America:
I love my country and it's sad to see the peoples lack of understanding and lack of interest in protecting our freedom. We also lack leadership in our government. I hope the people will wake up and stand for correct principles. |
