"I've been working with metal and wood all my life. As a kid, I built go-carts and tree houses, and as an adult, I've built boats and remodeled homes. I founded Trojan Manufacturing in 1987 at a time when contractors had become frustrated with the cheap and poorly made products flooding the American market place from overseas. I designed and manufactured the first really rugged, collapsible sawhorse legs. They were strong, sturdy and durable enough to hold up under professional conditions. The popularity and demand for that first sawhorse was so encouraging that we got to work on other products that tackled the problems contractors face every day.
While our first concern was building tough, quality tools, we also felt it was important to make products that were easy to transport. That portability and our time saving designs have become the hallmark of Trojan Manufacturing.
Our goal at Trojan is to become the most reputable manufacturer of power tool accessories in the United States. Our simple effective designs and our commitment to quality and customer service have brought us closer to that every year.

Thoughts on America:
I am so proud to be an American.
That said, it is time for us each to observe where we are heading as a whole and to do all we can to ensure the fundamentals of what makes this a great country survive.
I am old enough to have seen America in days of thriving production and steady jobs, when our manufacturing base produced quality products that were the envy around the world, and kids like me grew up with an American Dream of prosperity to entice us to reach for personal success. How is it that nearly every product we buy is now made overseas, many of our productive jobs have been lost and "the rich" have been made the enemy?
