"Alpenglow Skin Care is a small, sustainable-driven business owned and operated by the Houlihan family of Homer, Alaska. We make all of our skin care products entirely by hand in small batches in our workshop at home. We wildcraft (harvest by hand from wild land) Alaskan botanicals to include in our skin care products for beneficial and healing properties, scent and to keep our products as local as possible. We use Alaskan snow or rain instead of tap water in all of our products because it's free of hard minerals, has a better pH and makes skin softer. We have optimized the selection and ratios of ingredients to create concentrated, effective products with aromas made only from flowers and plants. We are meticulous about the content and source of every ingredient we select. Our 100% natural products work wonders for healthy, normal skin, as well as sensitive and problem skin, allergies, eczema, psoriasis, and babies’ delicate skin. We strongly believe in supporting other fine-crafts folks and industries that support right-livelihood. If we all aren't doing work we believe in and trust is doing right for humanity and the planet, then we aren't doing the right work. Sustainability is living off of nature's income, not it's capital." |

Thoughts on America:
Our country has many resourceful, innovative, hardworking and intelligent individuals. Unfortunately there are a lot of slackers that believe they are entitled and like to be spoonfed. Many Americans make poor decisions based on non-information. Ignorance is one of our worst evils. If you want to be proud to be an American, get educated and understand the real issues important to this country. |
