Adams Wood Products started making wood parts with two employees for the furniture industry in a rented garage of 2400 square feet in 1975. In 1981 we built 6000 square feet at our present location. Our building program completed in 2005 gave us over 100,000 square feet and now we employ 80 skilled Tennessee woodworkers.
This growth was needed to fill various component requirements for many well known manufacturers of "fine quality furniture."
In addition, our knowledge of woodworking has been used to make wood parts for health care, medical, hotel/motel, institutional, and store display furniture.
In 1987, we initiated a program to inventory various popular wood components to make them available to the small and medium sized furniture manufacturers. This program is unique, because the parts are available for quick delivery with "no minimum quantity." We will ship one of anything we stock.
Next came the Unfinished-Ready-To-Assemble Kit Program, where individuals can purchase a variety of Queen Anne furniture pieces to assemble and finish at home - again quick delivery from stock with "no minimum quantities." |
