Hot Gringas' was started out of our garden, an old recipe and friends that love to eat good food. We started with the recipe and grew around 25 different pepper plants. We had all our friends test the peppers and write down their thoughts. After that, 7 recipes were made of combination peppers. The winner of the 7 came to be our Jalapeno Relish and from there we created our Sweet Chili Sauce.
What next? The answer was clear - make more! With the help of great friends loving our products and wanting to buy them, we said what
the heck, here we GO! We became commercial in December of 2008 and are now doing farmers markets and loading up the local stores.
And the name? We are a couple of white chics, making HOT STUFF!
Our mission is to provide the public with hot tantalizing tastes that will live on in households from generation to generation. |
